About Jack Freeman

Thanks for stopping by. I'm Jack Freeman; pen for hire. I write. A lot. I started recently- originally for a newspaper in Arizona, and later for an Eisner-nominated comic book magazine. After the first year, I decided to write a novel about my personal experiences. I had a short stint as Editor-in-Chief for Zobe Fashion Magazine, but right now, I'm for hire.
I cut my teeth on a weekly column about comic books and comic culture. I enjoyed it greatly, as I have a love for comics. When I worked for Comic Foundry, my monthly "Don't Be That Guy" article was a hit. I can't say that I was responsible for the Eisner nom, but I won't say that it hurt, either. My relationship with Zobe was short, but I learned a lot about the industry, and I can't wait for my next opportunity.
Shades of Jack is my latest project, and as it is my first novel, I want it to be perfect. It's about half finished, and I can't wait to share. I'll be posting excerpts whenever I can.
Writing is my life, and though I love my projects, I love collaborations with artists and writers. If you have questions about what I am working on, or if you have something that you want to try out with me head over to my and drop me a line.
